"She represents the power of a woman following her dreams"

I am so excited about our upcoming trunk show with a jewelry designer new to Mystique, Tanya Farah, this weekend, February 10th in Old Town and February 11th in Middleburg. Before I decide to carry a new designer, I look at many essential elements, including exquisite design, quality fine metal and gemstones, precision in craftsmanship, uniqueness of style for everyday wear as well as a statement event, and of heirloom quality. While Tanya is not new to the jewelry design industry, she didn’t begin her career in the craft. After a brief stint in the corporate world, Tanya began taking steps to follow her true passion – her love for jewelry. She took design classes, worked as an apprentice with a renowned designer in New York City, and eventually launched her own signature collection.

One of a kind rings: black druzy quartz set in 18-kt with diamonds scattered unpredictably

Her love of horses was another draw for me to bring her collection to Mystique. Creating a necklace with a beautiful stirrup, whip, and horse detailed captured my eye.

Labradorite Lariat necklace in 18-kt gold featuring a horse, whip, and riding crop.

Tanya’s designs tell a story of a strong, independent, and expressive woman who wants to make a statement using beautiful, show-stopping artistry. Her continental heritage is seen throughout her collections, influenced by ancient architecture motifs and ornate tapestries, which she translates with her own contemporary edge.

I love that all of Tanya’s pieces are designed and handcrafted in New York City exclusively in 18-kt gold with non-treated precious stones and hand-selected diamonds. Tanya features her favorite critters -- the ladybug, turtle, and butterfly -- throughout her line.

Her designs complement each other, and are made to mix and match, transitioning effortlessly from day to evening, which is very important to me. Like Tanya and most of you, I am constantly trying to balance work, family, community, and time with friends, and don’t have the time or head space to make another decision. I want you to wear your treasured pieces all day, every day...and for a lifetime.Tanya Farah epitomizes high standards. She represents the power of a woman following her dreams. I hope to see you at the Tanya Farah Trunk Show to share in my excitement and enjoy her works of art that boast feminine beauty and timeless elegance! P.S. Mystique is moving in March! We'll be relocating to 123 S. Fairfax Street. Stay tuned for our grand opening!P.S. Don't forget about our Jude Frances preview show this Thursday!
