Join Us For Tax Free Weekend And The Alexandria Sidewalk Sale!
Every year, these two weekends bring our community throughout Alexandria in Old Town and Del Ray together to shop!

Tax Free Weekend is from August 6 to August 8, where school supplies and clothing are tax free. Your favorite stores in Old Town decided to go even further. They decided to pick up the sales tax on everything in the stores that weekend, so you don’t have to worry about it. I mean, why should the kids be the only ones that get in on the back-to-school shopping fun?
The Alexandria Sidewalk Sale is August 14 - 15, where boutiques offer deeply discounted summer merchandise. An added treat is free parking at four garages in Old Town. Get ahead of your fall shopping and relax the rest of summer!
