The Spring Lookbook Is Here
We usually send out a big Spring Lookbook to get everyone excited for the new season. I sort through all of the merchandise from the orders, and then Alexander makes it pretty.
The time to get excited for the Lookbook is finally here! I had it mocked up, sent it to print, and it’s now ready for everyone to flip through. This time, it had to be broken into two books for everything to fit – and that is just for the clothing section. As I flipped through the pages, I realized that maybe it’s better to create a smaller volume Lookbook for the digital world. I mean the “spring” deliveries start in January and last until May, which is quite a bit of time. We decided that it would be better to do a monthly Lookbook for emails and for Alexandria Stylebook. This way, if you are looking for something, you know you can add it to your wardrobe sooner rather than later.
Don’t worry, we still have the books of everything at both stores, so you can still sign up to be called when something arrives.
If you’re wondering what I’m personally excited for, that’s easy for me to answer. I am excited for Tibi, of course! I have the cocoon sweatshirt in three colors. But, they just added a hood to newer versions, so now I clearly need this new rendition in every color. Also, even though I swore I would never buy another pair of joggers, I couldn’t pass up the pink. I mean, how could I pass up shiny and pink joggers? It’s like they were made for me!
Tibi still remains my favorite and is a staple in my wardrobe, but Joseph is quickly becoming a close second. I also went big on A.L.C. this spring. It really stood out this delivery, and even though I don’t wear the bodycon dresses, I love them and can’t seem to pass up ordering them in the bright colors. I admit that I did have to place a personal order for the yellow leather shorts and the matching striped button-down. They will be on repeat this spring.
