2023 Year in Review

Oh, what a year it has been! As we bid farewell to 2023, let's take a stroll down memory lane and reflect on the moments that made this year truly unforgettable.

Our community experienced a fantastic expansion, witnessing the blossoming of new businesses, experiences, and exciting opportunities for growth within Alexandria. 2023 saw the rise of exciting new places to enjoy happy hours, team lunches, and weekend outings. We enjoyed the opening of Josephine's, Union Sandwich Co., Lily’s Chocolate, the charming Lady Camellia's Tea Room and Elaine’s Restaurant, just to name a few.

One of our favorite community events this year was the Alexandria Fall Festival! As the leaves changed color, we had the best time joining Alexandria Living Magazine and River Farm to host the Alexandria Fall Festival. From face painting and bounce houses to apple cider and pony rides, it was a picture-perfect autumn day of community celebration. Looking back at our favorite events, of course, we can’t leave out the Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend. Always our favorite time of year, we especially enjoyed riding and waving along in the Scottish Christmas Parade, dancing in the streets and welcoming in the holiday season with our community.

This year was full of celebrations and milestones. We welcomed two baby boys! Once again, Paige and Maria celebrated new additions to their families this year. The Armstrong family welcomed a precious addition with the arrival of Miller, bringing the first baby boy to our team family. Then later this fall, Maria’s baby Harrison was born, giving little Blair a baby brother. Love was definitely in the air this year as we also celebrated the engagement of Margaret and her fiance, Scott.

Our celebrations extend to professional achievements as well. A heartfelt congratulations to Phyllis for a decade of excellence with TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, earning a well-deserved spot among Sotheby’s Top 100 Agents/Teams in New York.

As we reflect on the events that shaped 2023, let's close out the year with gratitude and joy, knowing our community has weathered challenges and celebrated triumphs, emerging stronger than ever. With closed projects, new additions, and moments of joy and celebration, 2023 will forever be etched in our memories as a year of growth, togetherness, and strength in the spirit of Alexandria. Here's to another year of shared experiences and community celebration in the coming year!
