Two Tops Styled Four Ways
Clothes spark joy! This is especially true when you make smart purchases of fashions you love. Truthfully, I feel better about a purchase that I wear again and again as opposed to one I only wear once, which, in reality, was probably a “meh” purchase to begin with and a waste of money. You can build a beautiful wardrobe around a few quality purchases. A great place to start is with a fabulous top. Here, Alli and Michelle each take the same top and make it their own.
Both Alli and Michele adore this fun black-and-red polka dot top by Acrobat.
On Alli
Alli chose a more Boho style for such a classic top. She juxtaposed the silk top with wide linen pants by CP Shades, platform shoes by Dolce Vita, and a dream of a woven, floppy hat. The varying colors and textures are so fresh and trendy!
On Michele
Michele sports a more timeless style by pairing the top with white jeans. In many ways, this look is bolder simply because of the contrasting colors. The Kut for the Kloth white jeans, however, are a bit atypical with the lacy side detail and fringe hem, adding fun and flirty femininity to the outfit. Add the comfy, gold Jack Rogers espadrilles and that outfit will walk me on over to The Front Porch for a frozé soon enough!
Alli and Michele both fell for the ruffled Joie top.
On Alli
Definitely a classic -- bring on ruffles and denim! -- truly an outfit Alli can wear anytime and anywhere. Note the reappearance of the Dolce Vita platform shoes. They pair well with any style, including dresses!
On Michele
Not only do I love the romance of Michele’s outfit, but also the tone on tone. The scallop hem of the Draper James denim skirt and ruffles of the Joie top is very feminine and so simple to put together! Your style is just that, your style. Embrace it with your go to pieces that spark your joy!
