Introducing: Viva Vida at The Seedling Collective & Alx&Co.

If you have visited South Royal Street over the last week you may have noticed a new face on the block: Viva Vida, our newest pop-up at The Seedling Collective. Owner Mary Sapountzakis is a burgeoning jewelry designer with a focus on trendy, ready-to-wear jewelry that won't break the bank.Mary's core collection features 18k gold plated baubles set with semi-precious gemstones like aquamarine, topaz, and citrine. Her pieces are designed for women who like to have fun with their jewelry, who like to layer up and create new looks, and who appreciate living life beautifully inside and out.

Tourmaline cord bracelets, $38 & Signature heart cord bracelet, $39

Mary hails from Brazil, Greece, and Australia. A world-traveler at heart, Mary draws inspiration from the sexy simplicity of a beautifully layered look that can be packed on any trip and worn again and again with ease. Her jewelry is fabricated in Brazil near her family's home and she sources her gems from local, trusted vendors with whom she works directly.

 Signature gold-plated cord bracelets, $35-40
Sky blue topaz gold-plated earrings, $85

I was so taken by Mary's concept that I decided to feature a small collection of her 18k solid gold fine jewelry selection in our showroom at Alx&Co. Set with beautiful Brazilian emeralds, tourmaline, citrine, and amethyst, these delicate pieces will layer perfectly with your daily uniform.

18k yellow gold amethyst necklace, $570 & 18k yellow gold citrine necklace, $620 both available at Alx&Co.

Through the end of the month you can find her 18k solid gold pendants, necklaces, and rings right here at Alx&Co. If you're interested in her more budget-friendly options, make sure you stop by her pop-up downstairs before the end of the month. She has her entire collection of gold-plated pieces available at The Seedling Collective, so this is the perfect opportunity to get to know a new brand and pick up a few pieces along the way!
