We're Making Cups Again!
As many long-time clients know, we have a long history of specialty cup making. Tim and Lawrence (before they each had kids and lives) used to stay late at the shop, hand-crafting sterling silver cups of various shapes and sizes just for fun. Better still, they would "test" these cups with their curated whiskey and bourbon selection and if you were lucky, you could drop by and "test" a few for yourselves near the end of the day...Those carefree days at the shop are long gone (who has free time anymore to do anything??) but, the demand for their gorgeous handmade cups has not. We took a small break from cup-making, but we are pleased to announce that our beloved Lawrence is available once again for handmade cup commissions! Our cups are available in three distinct styles - The Camp Cup, The Traditional Julep, or The Hammered Triangle - and each option is a gorgeous holiday gift or milestone present. The Camp Cup is a lighter weight, beautifully simple design that is based off of classic beaker styles seen in the oldest silver cups. Our Julep Cup is nicely weighted (the difference between these and mass-produced spun cups is immediately noticeable just by the weight alone) and displays a simple, streamlined lip and base. The Hammered Triangle Cup was originally conceived of by Tim and has a unique, triangular shape and a beautiful hammered exterior. This is perfect for someone who appreciates unique design – and they're really comfortable to hold! Each cup can be engraved to your preference, making them even more personal and unique. These cups are truly works of art: completely made by hand in our workshop, extraordinarily durable, and guaranteed for life. You truly can't find this quality of hand-wrought sterling silver hollowware anywhere else, and they're the perfect gift for the beverage enthusiast in your life. Many clients have grown collections over the years, adding a new one with each Christmas or birthday - and we're happy that we can offer this service once more.
Good to know:
Our availability for cup commissions is limited and we're asking for a lead time of six weeks to fabricate each order, so if you're considering this as an option for Christmas: place your order now! We may not be able to complete your request if you wait. Orders should be placed online, and we cannot honor any custom requests outside of the options offered at this time.
