New Arrivals from Ulla Johnson at The Hive

It is hard to believe I am saying this, but we are starting to unpack our first pre-fall delivery, and it is a great one, from Ulla Johnson. Of all the brands we carry, I think they do the best job at making sure most of what they offer for this delivery are pieces you can buy now and wear now, but also transition perfectly into the early fall months when, let’s face it, it is too hot to wear anything that is fully from fall collections. I really don’t swap out my closet until October. You also don’t want to be wearing white eyelet or super summery pieces in early fall - or at least I don’t. I want that perfect transition item, and this delivery does the trick.

The first shipment we received was great pieces made out of the jersey fabric our customers love. I made sure we got all the options in this fabric. We have a long-sleeve, short-sleeve, and sleeveless dress along with tops in different sleeve lengths.

I have had tons of requests for new summer dresses, and we have two great cami dresses in cotton and silk florals. But my favorite piece from the collection is the Fiora Cami Cotton Dress, and we also got the same fabric in a shirt. I was so taken by this color palette. I just thought it was stunning, and I am not someone who wears a ton of florals, so for me this is something I would wear in the hot summer months, but love to have for a fall event as well.

Then the next collection I loved was the knit top, cardigan, and matching skirt. We had a similar set this spring and everyone was intimidated to try it on, but once they got it on, it was so flattering. I love that you can wear it all as separates and have the perfect sweater set for summer.
