How do I know spring is here? We finally got to do a photoshoot outside. With each spring event, we hope we can move outdoors, and this week we were finally able to make it happen.

This week, we are hosting our second-ever Tanya Taylor event. We introduced the line to the store last fall, and the response has been amazing—our customers love Tanya Taylor. A mother of two, Tanya lives in NYC, where she raises her children. She has a love of color and knows how to cut a dress so it is flattering and easy to wear. I always say that I know a line works when it has key pieces that are repeated each season. That means the fit is right and it’s a proven style. The Hudson skirt is a key piece every season from Tanya Taylor. We had it this fall in suede and denim, and now we have a cotton poplin version in three colors.

I think what we sell the most, though, is tops. The item our customers ask for most is a great top. We have four great styles in different colors: the Aubrey, Penny, Adrien, and Marine. It’s easy to wear, and if you look at the photos of Sheila and Jen, you’ll see they can be styled casually or dressed up. I will be stealing the look on Jen in the denim shorts and silk top. I also love the bright colors in this collection. We could all use a little dash of color in our wardrobes after this cold, drab winter.

They also do great easy dresses like the Ellicot, Cody, and Kovi. They are perfect for travel, a casual day at work, or a day of running around when you still want to look put together. I can’t stress enough how flattering and comfortable they are. If you need something a little dressier—maybe for a shower or dinner out—there are the Renzo, Gigi, Hannah, and Sloane. They also have great event dresses. If you have a wedding or party and need a great dress, the Violetta, Ciara, or Dasha are great picks.
