Tanya Taylor: Styled Looks at The Hive
When my world started to crumble a little bit in August, I went into solve-the-problem mode. One thing I needed to check off my list was making sure we could continue our styled photo shoots for trunk shows.
I have always been a firm believer that it is better to have our clothes on bodies, and real people, not the models in the brands’ New York lookbooks. It is also fun to see familiar faces on our social media and in Alexandria Stylebook.
So, when I was in panic mode, I texted Ali and asked her for help. Next up, I had to make sure my friend and our photographer, Chris Bishop, was lined up.
Our first shoot was for Tanya Taylor, queuing up a trunk show that kicks off this Thursday, September 10. Not only did Ali style the shoots, she modeled as well, along with The Shoe Hive’s newest manager, Penelope. You might recognize her from years past.
Well, the photos are just amazing, and all the fall colors make me so excited for cooler temperatures. All the plums, dark reds, and greens just make me happy. It is the perfect event to kick off fall.
