Veronica Beard Trunk Show at The Hive: Casual, Work & Dressed Up Looks

I finally got the original dream team back together. Tayo, Courtney and Megan once again took time out of their busy schedules to help showcase some of the beautiful looks we have for Veronica Beard.

Veronica is always our most anticipated event of the year. It is the brand that really launched The Hive almost 10 years ago. I have a group of friends that all have very professional jobs. They are lawyers, crisis communications, government affairs and run associations. Which means they have to go into an office most days or travel to meetings and conventions. When I meet them for drinks or dinner they are typically wearing Veronica Beard. It is because they just make getting dressed and looking put together easy. You know if you throw on one of their blazers you are going to look good and feel good.

Veronica isn’t just for work. Their jackets paired with denim are the perfect weekend look and have perfected the elevated t-shirt. I had Madeline style 3 looks, casual, work and then a more “dressed up” look for a night out or event. The blue dress on Tayo is stunning and if you have a wedding this summer or spring you need this dress.

The event runs through Sunday, March 8th. Of course if you stop by early we will have most of the pieces in stock. We can also order items and if you want to work with the Veronica Beard expert, Sabrina will be in store Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm and Friday 10 am to 4 pm.

Owner | The Shoe Hive/The Hive

I spent the first part of my career as a copywriter who helped elected officials brag about their support for entrepreneurs. Then I decided to get off the printed page and do it myself. The Shoe Hive made a splash on the fashion scene in Washington, and was named the region’s best shoe store in its first year. Fourteen years later, I have tripled the store’s size and also opened a sister store, The Hive.  At The Hive, we offer clothing lines that are sophisticated and approachable like Rag & Bone, Tibi, Raquel Allegra, Ulla Johnson and Veronica Beard. We have tried to fill our racks with clothing you will want to wear all the time, elevated basics that are worth the investment.
