Who Doesn’t Love a Scratch and Save?

If you’re like me, you wait until the last moment to shop for your holiday list. I check things off the list as they are needed. If it’s the last day to ship to Ohio or Texas, where our family lives, then that’s what I buy that day. Basically I am the person coming in on Christmas Eve and buying whatever you have left! Well, usually I send Brad to get it because I am working at my own stores; it seems the shopkeepers are always the worst at shopping.

We decided to have a little fun the last few days of holiday shopping and do a promo at Yellow Jacket. Okay, to be honest I was at Stylists at North and they handed me a scratch off sticker to redeem a prize and I knew I had to copy it. Don’t they say imitation is the best form of flattery?

I also have to admit doing self-made scratch off stickers is not as easy as one would think. Shannon, Rebecca and I put our heads together and we finally figured it out!

Here is how it will work: starting Thursday, Dec. 22 we’ll have stickers at all three stores for Yellow Jacket. Scratch off and see what discount or prize you’ll receive. You have to go to Yellow Jacket to redeem the discount and it only lasts through the holiday shopping weekend. It’s just a little extra something to help you check the last few items off your list for the men in your life– and you’ll get to see all that we have at Yellow Jacket if it’s your first trip there!

Owner | The Hive, The Shoe Hive, and Yellow Jacket

I spent the first part of my career as a copywriter who helped elected officials brag about their support for entrepreneurs. Then I decided to get off the printed page and do it myself. The Shoe Hive made a splash on the fashion scene in Washington, and was named the region’s best shoe store in its first year. Fourteen years later, I have tripled the store’s size and also opened a sister store, The Hive.  At The Hive, we offer clothing lines that are sophisticated and approachable like Rag & Bone, Tibi, Raquel Allegra, Ulla Johnson and Veronica Beard. We have tried to fill our racks with clothing you will want to wear all the time, elevated basics that are worth the investment.
