Jackets: Not Just for Keeping Warm

Recently, we finished a project for a client that I loved for its simplicity and versatility. Our client came to us with an heirloom ring set with four round diamonds that she rarely found opportunity to wear. Instead, she really wanted a pair of antique-inspired earrings to wear for her upcoming wedding...She had a few ideas for more elaborate designs but after realizing we were a bit too close to her wedding date to do something fully custom, we settled on a genius idea to convert two of her diamonds from her ring into earring studs. Then, to dress them up, we worked with a prefabricated design to create earring jackets to fit around her diamond studs so that she could wear the ensemble on her wedding day but also have the versatility to wear the diamond studs alone. Smart, right?Our client opted to set the jackets with alternating diamonds and pearls to soften the look and bring a more antique aesthetic to them. We loved how well everything came together and that we were able to get the entire package assembled in time for her to pick them up before jetting off to her big day.While we're known for our custom work, we're happy to work with clients to come up with creative solutions that fit (nearly) any timeline.
