Our goal at Alexandria Stylebook is to always bring meaningful content to your inbox. We want to be your go-to source for local lifestyle. Today's Monday Musings feel like they embody just that – local lifestyle. We have trunks shows. We have wellness – boy, Adrien gives us the feels every time. We have recommendations for a beautiful table and beautiful nails. And we learn how to recognize young leaders in our community. It's a great day to be part of this community!

Elizabeth: In case you haven't heard, Friday is a big day for us. Ann Mashburn and Lizzie and Kathryn Fortunato are going to be at The Hive helping us shop their spring collections. Look for more posts this week about the event, but I wanted to share a few of my favorite things from their lines.

Everyone knows Ann Mashburn for their shirting and great dresses, but I love their denim. They are the perfect cut and are so flattering. I am not one for white denim, but I love natural, and these you can wear all year long. (Available at The Hive, $195)

As far as Lizzie goes, I mean, you can't go wrong. I just want all the necklaces. Hard to pick a favorite, but I love the options that make layering easy by doing it for you. (Available at The Hive, $320)

I couldn't leave out Sid Mashburn from the mix even though he won't be in town until April 21, but it felt wrong to talk about Ann and not bring up her amazing husband, Sid. This blazer is quintessential Sid. Perfectly tailored, lightweight, and what everyone needs in their wardrobe. (Available at Yellow Jacket, $895)

Adrien: In July of 2020, we were nervous about gathering for this photoshoot, yet our community committed to RESILIENCE. We donned our masks, got ourselves outside, and supported each other in defining and progressing on a new wellness journey. Our members continue to become Strong(her) physically and mentally, and as we return to more traditional schedules and responsibilities, we remain committed to a wellness-centered life.

Is today the day you will begin your wellness journey? Contact our fabulous trainer, Lis Inman, to learn how you too can join our community and engage with others also interested in achieving holistic wellness.

Amy: Handwoven by artisans in Chiapas, Mexico, these cheerful cotton napkins are the perfect addition to any springy tablescape or picnic spread. (Available at Red Barn Mercantile, $85)

Celthia: New from Londontown, the Nail Vail collection contains a multi-correctional formula that delivers a kiss of ultra-sheer color. The universally flattering shades enhance the natural look of nails, as a blend of supercharged actives deliver strengthening and moisturizing benefits. No base coat or top coat needed; apply directly on to clean nails to rejuvenate and restore nail health (Available at Bellacara, $18)

Britt: "You could say our "muse" behind our passion for business is our vibrant community! This week is the last call for nominations for The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40 Honorees - due on April 1. What better way to celebrate our community members than to nominate and honor them? Find out more in our post later this week or learn about the event here.
