Rocking Jeans That Scare You: Ali Shares Trending Straight-Leg and Wide-Leg Styles

September is always the most exciting entrance back into fashion for both myself and my clients. Summers here are so hot and sticky that at some point we resort to wearing just dresses, or t-shirts and jean shorts. It’s pretty lame and not very interesting.

With temps beginning to drop, I can breathe again (literally) and am ready for the fall wardrobe magic to begin, and what better topic to tackle than jeans. The ongoing volume trend that began a few years ago is still here, and I’m very happy about it. I’m referring to those jeans that are “not skinny,” the jeans that so many women say they could “never pull off.”

I often find myself defending them because when given a chance and styled in the right way, they will look great on you! My mission today is to share how to wear non-skinny jeans with confidence. Many, many factors come into play and I am going to share as many of them with you as I can. To provide the full visual effect, I cut a video myself, (with more to come on Stylebook) because when it comes to clothing – who would I be if I wasn't sharing my silly, quirky self while discussing all things style?

For this visual demonstration, I chose two pairs of jeans from The Hive and styled them in multiple ways, while explaining every edit along the way. I hope you pickup some good pointers, and head over to The Hive to try it on for yourself, or order here.

Thanks for reading and watching! Schedule a complimentary Zoom call to learn how we can breathe life into your fall wardrobe, and follow me at @alhstyle.
