Six Ways to Wear Bodysuits
Do you hate it when you tuck in your shirt and it shifts around and looks sloppy before you know it? Or maybe it comes totally untucked? Well, I do. It actually drives me crazy. Especially if I am trying to wear a skirt or something dressier and I feel like when I tuck in my shirt, I go from looking sleek to looking lumpy and bumpy. I also don’t need to add any more to my midsection. This year the fashion trend of the early 90s is back and solving my tuck-in problem. The solution: the bodysuit. I know I know, roll your eyes. You have been there and done that. I have too. When we “dressed up” to go to the bars at Ohio University 90 percent of the girls had on high waisted jeans, black belt, and a scoop neck black bodysuit. It was a uniform. Oh, let's not forget the “shooties” we wore that weren’t even leather, allowing spilled beer to actually roll off them. Before you write off my solution, this is not the bodysuit of your youth. We now have all different types even silk shirts, turtlenecks, t-shirts, and tanks. When I decided it was time to write a post about them, it didn’t take me long to figure out who to ask to model. The one and only, Megan Brown. I know, I ask her a lot, but she is always willing to help out and she looks amazing in everything. This one hit me because in class she actually tucks in her tank tops to her workout pants or has exercise bodysuits and it looks great. So clearly, she was going to look amazing in a bodysuit from our store.Don’t be intimidated, however, they are not just for folks with six-pack abs like Megan has. They are for everyone. They actually help elongate and offers a seamless, slimming look. They are perfect for layering as well if you don’t want to wear it on its own - it takes away the bulk and the fuss. So give it a try!
