As you shop the sale section of The Hive (which I really hope you did last week), some folks want to know: What’s not on sale? What’s new? Well, we have lots of resort wear in the store. Some of it arrived before the holidays so it might not seem so new to everyone. We still have boxes coming in every day, full of new pieces, so we promise there will, for the near future, always be some really new items.

I have always been a fan of the “transition” deliveries – which is the broader category resort wear falls into – because it’s the one delivery we get that has the most buy-now/wear-now potential. Of course there are a few pieces that are more true resort, but we try to stick with a selection that is for the season we’re in, not the one that’s a few months down the road.

Of course my favorite items in this transition are all of the Tibi, but I’m also really excited about the Allude selection. We already have the first delivery but I am counting down the days to delivery Number 2; it’s all so beautiful. It’s really hard to beat Allude. They have the best cuts and colors and are not in every store you go in. Truly one of our best partners.
