Freda Salvador Trunk Show at The Shoe Hive

It’s time for our second month of Spring Trunk Shows, and we’re kicking it off with our first-ever Freda Salvador trunk show, April 4th-7th at The Shoe Hive. We thought it offered the perfect start to what is really, officially, and actually now – spring. It is also Shannon’s favorite brand and we always want to make sure Shannon is happy!

Shoe events are always a little trickier to pull off, so we’re thrilled we figured out a way to bring even more Freda to Alexandria for a few days. We have tons of new arrivals, they sent us some styles just for the event and we can also place special orders. One great thing about Freda is they really know what works. They have developed some classic styles and offer them in a variety of colors.

My personal favorite is the Jada. I have learned that texture really helps an outfit not look flat and adds interest. The woven ballet flats are the perfect solution to most of my shoe dilemmas. I already own three colors and might have to add one more with this event. I also love the Elba loafer. Loafers seem to be having a moment, especially when paired with socks.

I hope you will come in and check out our Freda Salvador event along with all our great new spring arrivals. And the best part: all Freda is 20 percent off for the event, Thursday, April 4th through Sunday, April 7th.

I spent the first part of my career as a copy-writer who helped elected officials brag about their support for entrepreneurs. Then I decided to get off the printed page and do it myself. The Shoe Hive made a splash on the fashion scene in Washington, and was named the region’s best shoe store in its first year. Fourteen years later, I have tripled the store’s size and also opened a sister store, The Hive.  At The Hive, we offer clothing lines that are sophisticated and approachable like Rag & Bone, Tibi, Raquel Allegra, Ulla Johnson and Veronica Beard. We have tried to fill our racks with clothing you will want to wear all the time, elevated basics that are worth the investment.
