Our Top Picks for the Week of August 5, 2019

We know you'll want to add these leather pants to your "items to purchase for fall" list. In fact, go ahead and start a to-do list with this chic leather day planner. Add the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer to the list -  it's everyone's favorite,  and of course you'll want shoes that say style, but also serve a purpose. Put a check mark by this week's top picks. Ali: There is just something about these Frame pants that draws you in the second you walk into TSALT.  I am a huge fan of this tan/brown situation that Frame is calling "Tobacco". The finish of the leather makes the pants look worn and gracefully aged (like a fine wine....and any of us over the age of 30). The beauty of the mini boot is it's ability to lengthen the leg, especially when it's coupled with a higher rise. Wear these pants with mules, flats or heeled boots. I styled these pants with warm colors (navy, plum, cream, etc.) and neutrals. My favorite was the total monochromatic look, which even included a "tobacco" shoe. (Available at TSALT, $950)Elizabeth: The Native line has been a life saver for me when it comes to finding waterproof shoes that kids can wear all year long. I finally decided it was time to bring them to The Shoe Hive and now they even have adult versions. I love the Mercury for travel. Not waterproof, but holds up in the rain and is so comfortable for travel. I am so exited to have this line at our store. (Both available at The Shoe Hive, the Mecury 2.0 by Native, $100 and the Jefferson Child Torch Red by Native, $35. Other colors available.) Amy: We just got a new batch of 2020 planners, many of which begin in August. We are especially excited about this DesignWorks Ink 17-month planner. A hand-sewn, vegan leather cover combined with the gold foil accents makes this pretty-in-pink planner one of our favorites. It features monthly and weekly spreads, gold foil stickers, gold gilded edges, a 4-year calendar overview, a sweet little pocket, and so much more. (Available at Penny Post, $28)Celeste: I know I've harped on this multiple times, but I have several foot issues. I always love finding shoes that are both cute and comfortable. I found the combo in Wonders! In fact, I love these shoes so much I bought myself a pair. Deep burgundy patent leather with tassels, these are sure to become one of my fall and winter staples. (Available at Kiskadee, $198)Angela: The iconic Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer has been the singularly most requested item in-store since the day I opened in March 2000. That's a pretty impressive run, if you ask us. (Available at Bellacara, $26)
