Browse the Tibi Lookbook Before The Hive’s Trunk Show

Before each market, some lines send a "look book” of what we will see when we head to their showroom in NYC. I admit, I rarely look at these. Last June, my sister couldn’t join us at market and took the time to look through to see what she would be missing out on. She emailed me and said there had never been a Tibi delivery that was more “Elizabeth” than the one she just browsed – which was Resort 2025. That was a very bold statement, because I pretty much only wear Tibi and there is rarely anything they do that I don’t love. Well, Rebecca was correct.

Never has there been a delivery I have loved more than this one. I started to count how many personals I ordered and well, I didn’t have enough fingers. It was an obnoxious amount and I could have ordered more. Despite the long ticket, I actually showed self control.

Since this is my favorite delivery so far I am so excited that Keturah and Christine from Tibi are joining us to help share the collection with our clients. Many of you probably follow Keturah on social media; She is a Director at Tibi and a Client Education Stylist. Nobody knows more about the Tibi fit than Keturah. Christine is Head of Sales and I basically talk to her once a day.

I wish we had more wonderful collaborators like Tibi. They are so easy to deal with, always willing to send special orders and host events – not to mention the fact that they only sell to independent retailers, and are always promoting us on their social media. If you don’t watch their weekly style classes, you should. Nobody does a better job helping us understand our own personal style journey and how to dress to feel more like ourselves than Tibi.

We are so lucky to host them at The Hive on Friday, December 6. We have our resort order, from which clearly I ordered a ton since I loved it so much, and for this trunk show alone, they also sent us all the pieces I wish I would have ordered. Appointments are available here, but of course stop by any time. If you can’t make it in on Friday the trunk show is still going on Saturday and Sunday.

Owner | The Hive and The Shoe Hive

I spent the first part of my career as a copywriter who helped elected officials brag about their support for entrepreneurs. Then I decided to get off the printed page and do it myself. The Shoe Hive made a splash on the fashion scene in Washington, and was named the region’s best shoe store in its first year. Fourteen years later, I have tripled the store’s size and also opened a sister store, The Hive.  At The Hive, we offer clothing lines that are sophisticated and approachable like Rag & Bone, Tibi, Raquel Allegra, Ulla Johnson and Veronica Beard. We have tried to fill our racks with clothing you will want to wear all the time, elevated basics that are worth the investment.
