Easy Summer Dressing with Frank & Eileen

Dressing in the summer can be a real pain, especially if you are not a sundress girl—which I am not. I really wish it wasn’t the case, but it is.

Of course, I wear a ton of Tibi, but sometimes I just need really casual options. I think a lot of our clients do as well. It is a time of year when we are all outside and maybe partaking in the great sports summer has to offer, like golf, tennis, and of course, the sport taking over the world: pickleball. Oftentimes, there is a dress code of white or collars, and let’s face it, a lot of the options aren’t cute.

I think this is why everyone loves Frank & Eileen for the summer. They have great options to take you from the court or the course to lunch with friends or running errands. I love wearing their button-down shirts as a swim cover-up since I have never felt like myself in a flowy, boho option. It really is perfect because you can wear it one day as a shirt and then, once it is dirty, use it for the pool.

It really is the solution to summer dressing and can help get you out of workout clothes. Stop by and see our newest arrivals.

Owner | The Shoe Hive/The Hive

I spent the first part of my career as a copywriter who helped elected officials brag about their support for entrepreneurs. Then I decided to get off the printed page and do it myself. The Shoe Hive made a splash on the fashion scene in Washington, and was named the region’s best shoe store in its first year. Fourteen years later, I have tripled the store’s size and also opened a sister store, The Hive.  At The Hive, we offer clothing lines that are sophisticated and approachable like Rag & Bone, Tibi, Raquel Allegra, Ulla Johnson and Veronica Beard. We have tried to fill our racks with clothing you will want to wear all the time, elevated basics that are worth the investment.
