Meet Ann Mashburn And Lizzie And Kathryn Fortunado

This event is actually two years in the making. Spring of 2020 was going to be the first time the stores ever hosted a designer, and it was going to be the Fortunato sisters, Lizzie and Kathryn. I was so excited. I was telling everyone about it. Here is the thing: I have always had a little chip on my shoulder about the fact that so many designers do in-store appearances at famous independent boutiques, but whenever I ask, I don’t seem to get much of a response. In the fall of 2020, I was lucky enough to have Ann Mashburn do an appearance right when things began to re-open. I had finally made it! 

Now almost two years later, I have Ann Mashburn and Lizzie Fortunato (and Kathryn) doing an appearance at my store at the same time. I feel so big time! 

And really, we couldn’t have two more supportive and collaborative brands than Ann Mashburn and Lizzie Fortunato. These amazing women only want to figure out how to help our store succeed. They are in this for all the right reasons and are always generous with their time. It does take a village to make a boutique work, and I couldn’t ask for better partners in retail.

Ann Mashburn will have Made-To-Order shirting appointments on Friday, April 1, from 10am to 4pm. Here is the sign-up genius link to book an appointment. We will also have an extended selection from both collections for the weekend, and all Lizzie Fortunato and Ann Mashburn merchandise will be 20 percent off.
