Community and generosity embody Alexandria. We support each other by shopping small and staying local. This powerful picture of Adrien and Lis is just the perfect metaphor for the spirit of our city. Alexandria's Giving Day is Wednesday, April 27, and it is more important than ever to continue showing up and showing our support. We have so many Alexandria Stylebook contributors participating that it's hard not to be in awe of their support for the organizations that serve Alexandria. So while they show up for the community, show up for them. Continue to shop local, now more than ever!
Adrien: We "do the work," but that doesn't mean we don't have fun along the way! I love how this picture of Alexandria Wellness coach extraordinaire Lis and me showcases our strength, teamwork, and courage. So often, we think purely in terms of physical strength, yet holistic wellness brings us to a balanced position of both physical AND emotional strength.

Elizabeth: We are all ready for summertime and more time outside, but are you ready for the bugs? I don't know if you are sweet like me, but bugs love me.
