Mother's Day Boutique Box

I have said it many times, but one of the many great rewards of having a store is the friendships I have formed with other store owners. There is a common bond with most small business owners and when you are in retail, and juggling it with motherhood, there is always a lot to talk about.Two fellow moms and shopkeepers who I love like sisters are my partners in the Boutique Box promotion we have been doing the last few weeks: Kelly from Bishop and Angela of Bellacara. We tend to do a lot of promotions together, I think, because our stores have synergy - and when you collaborate you want to make sure we are all rowing the same boat together.These two women are both “doers” and work their butts off to keep their stores going. We added in another fellow mom and business owner this week, Megan, from Mind the Mat.  This sounds shallow, I’m sure, but one thing I admire the most about all three of these women is that they pull off this juggling act while at the same time always looking “put together.”These ladies are all boss (be warned: I hate the phrase “mom boss,” – and refuse to use it - I mean when do we ever hear a guy say “dad boss”?)I love them so much, I thought it would be fun for you to learn a little more about each of them.But first I have to talk a little about the Boutique Box we are featuring this week! This week from Bishop we have the “it” clutch of the season. They literally blow out of them when they hit the store’s shelves. Angela has the mini clutch which is perfect to go inside the bamboo clutch to keep everything neat and tidy along with my new favorite, Clarins’ lip oil. The Hive has a great pair of basic hoop earrings that look good on everyone. Then last, but of course not least, we have a week of digital classes from Mind the Mat. They have a variety of different yoga and Pilates classes daily.
