If you follow us on Instagram and ever click through to our website, you probably have noticed lots of changes happening. In 2022 it really has been our focus to get the site looking and running like our brick-and-mortar stores run. If you wonder why you don’t see Shannon working the floor as much, this is the reason. We basically lock her in the basement because she is in charge of all things web-related. I mean, she even has a photo studio built down there, which she never thought would be something she could add to her resume. But everyone knows that Shannon is the best, and well, she figures things out. So the last few months, she has been figuring out lots of new things.

Our goal is to have everything up on the website within a week of receiving it. This, of course, requires lots of steps and time. Each Wednesday, we will be “revealing” the newest arrivals to the store. This way, if you are looking for something specific or just want to see the latest and greatest, you know Wednesday is the day to check it out. We will try to make sure we do stories as well to show you some of the pieces styled as well.

Owner | The Hive and The Shoe Hive

I spent the first part of my career as a copywriter who helped elected officials brag about their support for entrepreneurs. Then I decided to get off the printed page and do it myself. The Shoe Hive made a splash on the fashion scene in Washington, and was named the region’s best shoe store in its first year.
