Valentine’s Day for Littles

One of the best things about being a mom is getting to do all those fun things you loved to do as a kid over again with your own children. You know, things like Halloween costumes, seeing Santa, Easter egg hunts, and, of course, giving valentines to your classmates.I LOVED the whole ritual around giving valentines in class. Remember decorating a shoe box with red and pink, then passing out your valentines, and finally, best of all, seeing what you got. It also meant a fun break from the daily grind of reading, writing, and arithmetic, which is very real when you’re 6.When my kids were in preschool, we made valentines together, (though they were never as amazing as the pom-pom valentines that #fibrespacetinyhuman gives — so much fun!), but once they started to age, and, let’s face it, I got tired of cutting out hearts and gluing my fingers together, we resorted to store-bought valentines. This year, instead of going to Target or CVS, I hope you will consider coming to Penny Post for your valentines. At Penny Post we have makers who will put those Spider Man cards to shame. Introduce the kindergarten set to letterpress with Egg Press’s Monster Valentines (16 per pack, above). Or give your future tastemaker Mr. Boddington’s set of whimsical valentines (32 per pack, below). I mean, where were these when my kids were growing up?! So cute!Don’t forget the other folks in your littles’ lives – grandma, grandpa, teacher, best friend, mom, dad. We have cards for them, too. In fact, we have a card for everyone! Below are just a few of our sweet sentiments suitable for littles.[nemus_slider id="45800"]Happy Valentine’s Day to you and your littles, friends! May it be filled with lots and lots of love. ❤️
