Toasting this Community and Our Amazing Customers — We Wouldn’t Be Here Without You!
I have been in business for just over 20 years now. Since the beginning, I have been blessed to have the best customers around! Many of them have become close friends. Without the support from this community for the last two decades, I wouldn’t still be in business.
It occurred to me that maybe I haven’t done a good enough job of letting everyone know how much I appreciate their support. Everyone has plenty of options when they decide where to shop, especially online where you don’t have to take the time to drive somewhere. I hope that everyone realizes this is never lost on me, or on any small business owner. We are only as good as our customers and our community.
We decided we wanted to have a week to say “thank you.” Mark your calendars for May 7- May 12 for promotions, and some fun, of course. We are still working on the details but we do know a few things for certain. All week when you shop you will receive double loyalty points. We will also have scratch-and-save cards at each store. Grab a sticker from the bowl at checkout, scratch it off and see what discount or prize you win.
We were also discussing how much folks ask us about attending market – and what it’s like to go to NYC. We love picking out the clothes, but we also love the abundant snacks in the showrooms! So all week we will have our favorite market snacks out at The Hive. Look for more on this from Annette in next week's Stylebook.
Then last, but not least, possibly the best event of the week is one you won’t want to miss. We are having a little Customer Appreciation Happy Hour with two of my very favorite people and fellow small business owners as guest bartenders: Megan Brown and Nicole Jones. Join us from 5 to 7pm on Thursday, May 9th for drinks and laughs. If there is anyone who knows how to throw a party, it’s these two!
